Gary L. Wolfstone
Mr. Wolfstone has practiced law for 50 years as Law Offices of Gary L. Wolfstone, www.wolfstonelaw.com. Prior to founding his firm, Mr. Wolfstone studied law at Harvard and egineering at Iowa State University.
As a trial lawyer, Mr. Wolfstone has worked for an insurance defense firm; Mr. Wolfstone has successfully tried wrongful death cases to twelve person juries; and Mr. Wolfstone has extensive experience in pre-trial discovery litigation ranging from depositions to motion calenders. Mr. Wolfstone has extensive experience in working with physicians in presenting their trial testimony, and he has challenged defense firms in cross examining their economists and accident reconstruction experts. Mr. Wolfstone is also an experienced and accomplished appeals attorney.
Teaching Corporation Law and Accounting CPA Exam preparation has been one of Mr. Wolfstone's most fulfilling endeavors over the years. Teaching Corporation Law in an MBA program tested Mr. Wolfstone's commitment to rigorous scholarship. Mr. Wolfstone's teaching style focused on challenging his students to employ critical thinking and legal analysis.
Mr. Wolfstone cares deeply about lawyer's ethics. Throughout his career as a practicing lawyer, Mr. Wolfstone has repeatedly sacrificed making money for the most ethical choice. The bar association said that they value and applaud the service that Mr. Wolfstone has provided to the people of Washington State throughout his career. The bar association letter said that Mr. Wolfstone's long-time commitment to expanding justice and promoting the rule of law is exemplary.
Mr. Wolfstone says: "Providence has smiled upon me. I have been a member of my bar association for 50 years; I have had the same CPA (Certified Public Accountant) for 50 years; and I have had the same bank for 50 years!"
Mr. Wolfstone applied to and was admitted to legal programs of study at Harvard University in 1969.
Mr. Wolfstone graduated from Harvard Law School in 1972. He decided in 1972 to teach and practice law.
Mr. Wolfstone was admitted to Phi Beta Kappa (top 10% of his college class) whose members include 17 U.S. Presidents, 42 Supreme Court Justices and more than 150 Nobel Laureates.
Mr. Wolfstone has now been an active WSBA member for 50 years and intends to go another 50 years!
Mr. Wolfstone has also been admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court.
Mr. Wolfstone is a transitional member of the ABA, the American Bar Association, and has published widely as a legal scholar.
Mr. Wolfstone has served as a loyal member of Ivy League Clubs in the United States and in Europe where ever "Ivy" is valued!
